Carry this Weight
For I cannot carry this burden myself,
On my lonesome
I step,
Up, Up, Up-
I climb.
Come, let us make bricks,
Let us build stairs,
But as this mountain grows steeper,
I cannot, nor will I, watch myself topple
So I beg,
Let us make a name for ourselves,
Hear my words, interpret as you can
But an impossible task is burden enough.
Do not bear this burden,
But help me carry the weight
For the world must not be placed,
On the shoulders of one man.
Yet,
To each and everyone
They are.
